Biography
Dan Atherton is a British cinematographer, also credited as Daniel Atherton. He trained at the National Film and Television School, graduating in 2016.
Atherton has worked as director of photography on the television series Great Expectations (2023), Prime Target (2025), The Gentlemen (2026), Legends (2026) and Bait (2026). Earlier credits include Somewhere Boy (2022) and The One (2021). In 2018 he received the British Society of Cinematographers Emerging Cinematographer award for the short film Love Pool.
