Biography
Dan Halsted is an American film producer and talent manager. Born in New York City on 12 July 1962, he moved to Beverly Hills, California, in 1976 and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in political science.
He began his Hollywood career in 1984 as an assistant to Scott Rudin at 20th Century Fox and later worked as an agent at United Talent Agency. In 1999 he founded Halsted Pictures under a production deal with Mandalay Pictures. His credits as producer include The Virgin Suicides (2000), Any Given Sunday (1999), S.W.A.T. (2003) and Garden State (2004).
