Biography
Daniel Cerone is a television writer and executive producer, also credited as Daniel Howard Cerone. He previously worked as a journalist for the Los Angeles Times.
Cerone joined the writing staff of Dexter in 2006, contributing as writer, story and teleplay on multiple episodes. He was promoted to co-showrunner and executive producer for the second season. His other credits include writing for The Mentalist, The Blacklist, Charmed and Dirty Sexy Money, as well as creating Motive and Clubhouse, and co-creating Constantine.
He received Writers Guild of America Award nominations for his work on Dexter, along with a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series and a Peabody Award for the series' second season.
