Biography
Edward Ornelas is a television director and editor. He began his career in post-production and worked as an editor on Grey's Anatomy (2005) for several seasons before directing episodes of the series, including the season six premiere.
Ornelas has directed episodes of numerous series, including Private Practice, Fear the Walking Dead, The Mentalist, Under the Dome, The Blacklist, NCIS, The Resident, Chicago Med, Limitless and FBI. He has also served as a producer on shows such as Harlan Coben's Shelter and Sheriff Country.
He holds an A.B. in English from Stanford University and an M.F.A. in film production from the University of Texas at Austin. Ornelas joined the Directors Guild of America in 2009.
