Biography
Daria D'Antonio is an Italian cinematographer. Born on 16 January 1976 in Naples, she studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli and began her career in the film industry as a camera assistant and operator, working extensively with cinematographer Luca Bigazzi on projects for directors including Silvio Soldini, Gianni Amelio and Paolo Sorrentino.
She made her debut as director of photography in 2007 on Pietro Marcello's Il passaggio della linea. D'Antonio has served as cinematographer on films including Slam (2016), Ricordi? (2018), The Hand of God (2021), Supersex (2024) and Parthenope (2024), and as camera operator on Sorrentino's The Great Beauty (2013). She is the first woman to win the Globo d'Oro for best cinematography twice.
