Biography
Dave King (born David Albert Kingshott) was an English comedian, singer and actor. He began his career in variety after National Service in the RAF, initially as part of Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang before becoming a solo comedy impressionist and hosting his own television series in the 1950s and 1960s.
King later transitioned to straight acting roles in film and television. He appeared in The Long Good Friday (1980) as the corrupt policeman Parky, Reds (1981) as Allan Benson, Cuba (1979) as Miss Wonderly's Press Agent, The Ritz (1976) as Abe and Revolution (1985) as Mr. McConnahay. He also played Clifford Duckworth in the soap opera Coronation Street.
