Biography
David Ajala is a British actor. He was born on 21 May 1986 in Hackney, London, and trained at the Anna Scher Theatre before graduating with a BA in Acting from the Court Theatre Training Company.
Ajala began his career with stage work including productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company. His film roles include Kidulthood (2006) and its sequels, The Dark Knight (2008), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Starred Up (2013) as Tyrone, and Jupiter Ascending (2015). On television he has appeared in Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Supergirl (2018–2019) as Manchester Black, Nightflyers (2018), Star Trek: Discovery (2020–2024) as Cleveland 'Book' Booker, and Law & Order (2025–).
