Biography
David Buckley (born 7 June 1976) is an English composer of film and television scores, based in Santa Monica, California. He trained at the University of Cambridge and began his career writing music for television and commercials in London before moving to Los Angeles in 2006.
Buckley has collaborated extensively with composer Harry Gregson-Williams and has scored numerous films, including The Town (2010), The Forbidden Kingdom (2008), From Paris with Love (2010), Parker (2013), The Nice Guys (2016), Jason Bourne (2016), Angel Has Fallen (2019), Greenland (2020) and Nobody (2021). He composed the music for the CBS series The Good Wife (2009–2016) and its spin-off The Good Fight (2017–2022).
He received a BAFTA 'Brits to Watch' nomination, multiple BMI Awards and an Emmy nomination in 2017 for Outstanding Theme Music for The Good Fight.
