Biography
David Caffrey is an Irish film and television director. He was born in 1969 in Greystones, County Wicklow. He began his career with award-winning short films before directing feature films including Divorcing Jack (1998) and On the Nose (2001).
Caffrey has directed episodes of several television series. These include three episodes of Line of Duty (2012) and all six episodes of series 4 of Peaky Blinders (2017). Other credits include Love/Hate (2010–2014), Stan Lee's Lucky Man (2016) and The Alienist (2018–2020). He won the Fantasporto Critics' Award for Divorcing Jack and the Newport Beach Film Festival Audience Award for On the Nose.
