Biography
David Carbonara is an American film and television composer. He is best known for scoring the AMC series Mad Men (2007–2015), for which he composed original music across all seven seasons and produced period songs that appeared in the show.
Born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Carbonara trained at Berklee College of Music. Earlier in his career he worked as a music editor on films including Cop Land (1997), Chocolat (2000) and The Lake House (2006). His other television credits include Vegas (2012–2013), The Romanoffs (2018) and the miniseries The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe (2015). Film scores include Spanking the Monkey (1994), The Guru (2002), Are You Here (2013) and Some Girl(s) (2013). He has also produced original songs for The Last Tycoon.
