Biography
David Crabb is an American actor, writer, director and performer. Born in San Antonio, Texas, he trained at Texas State University–San Marcos and later earned an MFA in Photography and Performance from Cranbrook Academy of Art. He is a member of the Groundlings main company in Los Angeles and has performed solo works across the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Crabb created the autobiographical solo show Bad Kid, later published as a memoir by Harper Perennial in 2015. His acting credits include Professor Miller in The Sex Lives of College Girls (2024), the Lawyer in Stick (2025), and Brandon in Piano Lessons (2025). He has also worked in sound departments on films including Half Nelson (2006) as foley editor and Marfa Girl (2012) as foley recordist.
