Biography
David Iserson is an American writer and producer. Born on 3 December 1977 in Freehold, New Jersey, he graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in communications from its Radio/Television/Film programme. He began his career writing for the 2003–2004 season of Saturday Night Live.
Iserson has written episodes of United States of Tara (2009–2011), Up All Night (2011–2012), New Girl (2012–2014), Mad Men (2014) and Mr. Robot (2015), and served in producing roles on several of these series. He created and served as showrunner on the forthcoming series Ponies (2026).
His film credits include the screenplay for The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), on which he was also an executive producer. In 2013 he published the young adult novel Firecracker, which was named one of Rolling Stone's 40 best YA novels of 2014.
