Biography
David L. Snyder is an American production designer and art director. He was born on 22 September 1944 in Buffalo, New York. He began his career in television, working as an art director on series including Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and Battlestar Galactica, before moving into feature films.
Snyder served as art director on Blade Runner (1982), for which he shared an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction. His production design credits include Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985), Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991), Super Mario Bros. (1993), Demolition Man (1993), Vegas Vacation (1997), Soldier (1998), The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and The One (2001). He has also worked as a second unit director on several films.
