Biography
David Quantick is an English comedy writer, screenwriter, journalist and novelist. He began his career as a freelance writer for the music magazine NME in 1983, where he worked with Steven Wells on comedy pieces until 1995.
His television writing credits include the radio and television series On the Hour and The Day Today, Brass Eye, Blue Jam, Harry Hill's TV Burp, The Thick of It and Veep (2012), for which he received an Emmy Award in 2015. He has also written novels including The Mule and All My Colors.
