Biography
David Raedeker is a cinematographer. Raised in Hamburg, Germany, he worked as a photographer’s assistant before completing a BA in Film at the London College of Communications. He began working in the UK on series including Misfits (2009) and Downton Abbey (2010).
He has served as director of photography on Black Mirror (2011–), My Brother the Devil (2012), To Walk Invisible (2016), The Souvenir (2019), The Souvenir: Part II (2021), The Essex Serpent (2022) and other features and series. He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers and won the Sundance World Drama Competition award for best cinematography for My Brother the Devil.
