Biography
David Rawlins is an American film editor. He is credited as editor on Saturday Night Fever (1977), directed by John Badham, as well as The China Syndrome (1979) and Urban Cowboy (1980).
His other editing credits include Firestarter (1984), Back to School (1986, on which he also served as second unit director), Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987), Life Stinks (1991), Baby's Day Out (1994) and Mr. Magoo (1997). He has also worked in television and as an additional editor on films such as Broadcast News (1987).
Rawlins was born on 10 September 1935 in Los Angeles, California.
