Biography
David Ronn is a writer and producer. He began his career in television, working on the sitcom Spin City from 1997 to 2000 alongside writing partner Jay Scherick, where he contributed as a writer, story editor and producer.
Ronn's film credits include the screenplays for National Security (2003), I Spy (2002), Guess Who (2005), Norbit (2007, co-written with Eddie Murphy and Charlie Murphy), The Smurfs (2011), Zookeeper (2011), The Smurfs 2 (2013), Baywatch (2017) and Clifford the Big Red Dog (2021). He received Razzie Award nominations for worst screenplay for Norbit and Baywatch. He has been married to Rachel Jacobs since 2004 and they have two children.
