Biography
David Shaughnessy is an English actor, voice artist, director and producer. He voiced Sir Didymus, The Hat and other characters in the 1986 film Labyrinth.
He trained at Eton College and the Central School of Speech and Drama, and began his career in repertory theatre before becoming a principal actor with the Old Vic in London. Shaughnessy has voiced characters in animated films and series including Big Hero 6 (2014) and Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018), as well as in video games. He has directed episodes of the daytime dramas The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of Our Lives, and is the brother of actor Charles Shaughnessy.
