Biography
David Slack is an American television writer and producer. Born on 18 April 1972 in Santa Barbara, California, he began his professional screenwriting career in animation in 1999.
He wrote for animated series including Jackie Chan Adventures (2000–2003) and served as writer and producer on Teen Titans (2003–2005). Slack later transitioned to live-action procedurals, writing for Law & Order (2005–2008) and serving as co-executive producer and writer on Person of Interest (2011–2015). His other credits include Lie to Me, Transformers: Prime, Gravity Falls, MacGyver (2016–2018) and creating the series APB (2017).
