Biography
Dawn Snyder is a production designer and art director. She began her career in set design and art direction on films including Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), Van Helsing (2004) and The Nutty Professor (1996). She later served as production designer on television series such as Arrested Development (2003–2006), Better Off Ted (2009–2010), Rush Hour (2016) and On My Block (2021).
Snyder won an Art Directors Guild Award for her work on Arrested Development. In 2021 she was appointed director of education and special projects at the Art Directors Guild. She has taught production design at the Savannah College of Art and Design and advanced art direction at the AFI Conservatory.
