Biography
Dayo Okeniyi is a Nigerian-American actor. Born Oladayo A. Okeniyi on 14 June 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria, he moved with his family to the United States in 2003 and earned a bachelor's degree in visual communications from Anderson University in Indiana in 2009.
He began performing in local theatre and short films before his breakthrough as Thresh in The Hunger Games (2012). Okeniyi portrayed Danny Dyson in Terminator Genisys (2015) and has appeared in films including The Spectacular Now (2013), Endless Love (2014) and Fresh (2022), as well as the series Shades of Blue (2016–2018) and Dark Matter (2024).
