Biography
Denis Freyd is a French film and television producer born on 9 January 1953. In 1988 he founded the production company Archipel 33, specialising in television fiction, and in 1997 established Archipel 35 for cinema.
He has produced numerous feature films, including several by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne such as The Kid with a Bike (2011), Two Days, One Night (2014), The Unknown Girl (2016) and Young Ahmed (2019). Other credits include 17 Girls (2011), The Child (2005) and One Nation, One King (2018). Freyd is a professor at La Fémis in Paris and has been a member of the Club des 13 since 2008.
