Biography
Derek Elphinstone (1913–1999) was a British actor. He was born in Guildford, Surrey, on 15 October 1913, the son of actor Montague Elphinstone, and came from a theatrical family.
His film roles include Lieutenant Parker in The Four Feathers (1939), No. 1 in In Which We Serve (1942), Lord Oldham in The Red Shoes (1948), and Richard Anthony in Distant Trumpet (1952). He also appeared in television adaptations and worked as a writer and producer on a small number of films.
