Biography
Diarmaid Murtagh is an Irish actor. He was born on 28 July 1982 in Kingscourt, County Cavan.
He first appeared in the Irish soap opera Ros na Rún in 2007. His film roles include Captain Harpen in The Monuments Men (2014), Dimitru in Dracula Untold (2014) and a police officer in Uncharted (2022). On television he has played Leif in Vikings (2013), William 'Buck' MacKenzie in Outlander (from 2023) and Donal McDonnell in The Tourist (2024).
Murtagh is cast as Drom Baxton in the film Supergirl (2026).
