Biography
Diarmid Scrimshaw is a British film producer from Sheffield. He is the founder of Inflammable Films and has produced feature films including Tyrannosaur (2011) and Journeyman (2018), as well as executive producing God's Own Country (2017) and Santosh (2024).
Scrimshaw began his career as a script supervisor on This Is England (2007). He later joined Warp Films and produced the short film Dog Altogether (2007) with director Paddy Considine. He has also produced several other shorts, including Swimmer (2012) and Polar Bear (2016).
Scrimshaw has won three BAFTA Awards: for Best Short Film on Dog Altogether (2008) and Swimmer (2013), and for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer on Tyrannosaur (2012).
