Biography
Diego Calva Hernández is a Mexican actor. Born in Mexico City in 1992, he studied film directing and screenwriting at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. He worked in various crew roles before turning to acting and made his feature debut in the 2015 independent film I Promise You Anarchy.
Calva gained wider recognition for his role as Arturo Beltrán Leyva in the series Narcos: Mexico (2021). He played Manny Torres in Damien Chazelle's Babylon (2022), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. His television credits include a role in the second season of The Night Manager.
