Biography

Dino Jonsäter is a Swedish film editor. Born in Stockholm in 1969, he began his career in the mid-1990s as a segment producer on Swedish television programmes including Knesset and Cumbaya for ZTV and Sen kväll med Luuk for TV4. He later worked freelance, directing music videos and commercials, before becoming a full-time editor after contributing to episodes of the series Playa del Sol and Gynekologen i Askim.

Jonsäter edited Tomas Alfredson’s Let the Right One In (2008), which marked a significant point in his career. He went on to edit Alfredson’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), for which he received a BAFTA nomination for Best Editing. Other credits include Love & Mercy (2015), The Professor and the Madman (2019) and Absolution (2024). He has won two Guldbagge Awards for Best Editing, for Goliath (2019) and The Most Beautiful Boy in the World (2021, shared with Hanna Lejonqvist).
