Biography
Dino Stamatopoulos is an American writer, producer and actor. Born on 14 December 1964 in Norridge, Illinois, he began his career as a writer on sketch series including The Ben Stiller Show (for which he won a Primetime Emmy), Mr. Show with Bob and David, MADtv and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
He created the stop-motion series Moral Orel (2005) and Mary Shelley's Frankenhole (2010) for Adult Swim. Stamatopoulos served as writer and consulting producer on the NBC series Community (2009), for which he also wrote two animated episodes and played the recurring role of Alex "Star-Burns" Osbourne.
He co-founded the animation studio Starburns Industries, which produced the film Anomalisa (2015).
