Biography
Domenico Procacci is an Italian film producer. Born in Bari in 1960, he began producing in the late 1980s and founded the production company Fandango in 1990. The company’s first release was Sergio Rubini’s La stazione (1990). He later established Fandango Australia in 2002.
Procacci has produced numerous Italian and international films, including The Consequences of Love (2004), Gomorrah (2008), Loose Cannons (2010), We Have a Pope (2011) and I Can Quit Whenever I Want (2014). He has maintained a long collaboration with Australian director Rolf de Heer. Procacci has received four David di Donatello awards for best producer and four Silver Ribbons in the same category.
