Biography
Dominic Colón is an American actor, writer and producer. Born on 15 May 1976 in The Bronx, New York City, he is a Bronx native who has appeared in numerous films and television series.
He is known for his role as Mikey in the 2015 film Southpaw, as well as appearances in We Own the Night (2007), Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011), Money Monster (2016), Orange Is the New Black (2013) and Escape at Dannemora (2018). He also played Manny Spamboni in the children's series The Electric Company.
Colón has written screenplays for short films including Crush, which won the HBO/New York International Film Festival Short Film Script Competition, and Skin, which received the 2016 BRIO Award for Screenwriting.
