Biography
Donal Gilligan was an Irish cinematographer. He trained at Rathmines College in Dublin and began working as a camera assistant on international productions in the early 1990s. He later became a director of photography on numerous films and television series.
His credits include Spooks (2002), Love/Hate (2010), Primeval (2011), Raw (2008–2011) and Shameless (2009). He also worked on features such as Omagh (2004) and Mystics (2003). Gilligan received two IFTA nominations and died on 19 September 2010 in Dublin.
