Biography

Donald Curtis (born Curtis D. Rudolf) was an American actor. He played Harry in the 1945 film Spellbound.

Before his film career, Curtis taught at Northwestern University, Allegheny College and Duquesne University. He gained early acting experience at the Pasadena Community Playhouse and appeared in two Broadway productions.

He had roles in films including Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), They Were Expendable (1945), All That Heaven Allows (1955), It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955) and The Ten Commandments (1956), and in television series such as Get Smart (1965) and Perry Mason (1957). Curtis later became a religious leader, author and lecturer.
