Biography
Doru Ana was a Romanian actor. He was born on 28 February 1954 in Bucharest and died on 11 October 2022.
He graduated from the Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1980 and appeared on the stage of the Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest. He later taught as a professor at the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC).
Ana's film roles include Sandu Sterian in The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005), the gas pump attendant in 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007), Cârnu in Silent Wedding (2008), Father Nusu in Beyond the Hills (2012) and Capitanu' in the series Shadows (2014).
