Biography
Doug Dearth is an American actor, producer and director. He made his screen debut as an actor in the 1997 film Grosse Pointe Blank, in which he played Eckhart, and also appeared in Con Air the same year.
Dearth trained at the DW Brown Studios and the Actor’s Conservatory Theater. He later worked in production at New Crime Productions from 2000 to 2008. As a director he is known for the documentary 9000 Needles (2009), which won awards at several festivals, and the feature films Underdogs (2013) and Odd Man Rush (2020). His producing credits include War, Inc. (2008) and Waltzing with Brando (2024).
