Biography
Doug Hutchison is an American actor born on 26 May 1960 in Dover, Delaware. He trained at the University of Minnesota and the Juilliard School, studying with Sanford Meisner, and began his career with stage roles including a Minneapolis production of Equus.
Hutchison is known for character roles often portraying disturbed or antagonistic figures. His television work includes Eugene Victor Tooms in The X-Files (1993–1994) and Horace Goodspeed in Lost (2007–2009). Film credits include Pete Willard in A Time to Kill (1996), Percy Wetmore in The Green Mile (1999), and roles in Con Air (1997) and Batman & Robin (1997). He has also appeared in 24 (as Davros) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
He founded the production company Dark Water Inc.
