Biography
Doug Mand is an American writer, actor and producer. He began performing sketch comedy while at New York University with the group Hammerkatz and later at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
His television writing credits include episodes of How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015–2019); he created and executive-produced the Netflix series Pretty Smart (2021). Film writing credits include Magic Camp (2020), Dolittle (2020), Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) and, as co-writer, The Naked Gun (2025). He previously hosted the comedy podcast Doodie Calls.
