Dr. Dre, born Andre Romelle Young on 18 February 1965 in Compton, California, is an American rapper, record producer and actor. He is also credited as Andre Young and Andre Romelle Young, and as a member of N.W.A.

His acting credits include the role of Paul in Training Day (2001), Black Sam in Set It Off (1996) and Sean in The Wash (2001). He has also appeared as himself in documentaries such as Tupac: Resurrection (2003) and The Defiant Ones (2017). He is the founder and CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics.
