Biography
Dwight Schultz is an American actor known for his work in television, film and voice performance. Born William Dwight Schultz on 24 November 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland, he graduated with a BA in Theatre Arts from Towson State College and began his career in stage productions with companies including the McCarter Theatre and Center Stage.
His breakthrough role was as Captain "Howling Mad" Murdock in the series The A-Team (1983–1987). He gained further recognition as Lieutenant Reginald Barclay in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990–1994), reprising the part in Star Trek: Voyager and the film Star Trek: First Contact (1996). Schultz has also provided voices for animated series including Ben 10 as Dr. Animo and Chowder as Mung Daal.
