Biography
Eddie Boland (1885–1935) was an American film actor. He appeared in more than 110 films between 1912 and 1937, mostly in comedic supporting roles.
Born in San Francisco, he received six years of theatrical training before entering the film industry in 1913. He worked primarily in comedies for studios including Imp, Universal, Educational and Hal Roach, with occasional feature roles. Among these were The Obliging Gentleman in F. W. Murnau's Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans (1927) and 'Flash' Farrell in Harold Lloyd's The Kid Brother (1927). He also appeared in City Girl (1930) and The Miracle Woman (1931).
Boland was married to Jean Hope. He died in Santa Monica, California.
