Biography
Edithe Swensen is an American writer and producer. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Wheaton College in Illinois and a master's degree from Penn State University. She began her television writing career in the mid-1980s.
Swensen wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Imaginary Friend" (1992), in collaboration with Brannon Braga. She contributed a story to Xena: Warrior Princess (2000) and worked as a writer and story editor on Charmed (1998–1999). On Odyssey 5 (2002–2003) she served as writer, executive story editor and co-producer. Her other credits include episodes of Tales from the Darkside, Monsters and Witchblade, as well as numerous television films such as Brazen (2022).
