Biography

Eduard Fernández is a Spanish actor born on 25 August 1964 in Barcelona. He trained as a mime artist at the Institut del Teatre and began his career in theatre, including several years as a member of the company Els Joglars.

He made his feature film debut in the mid-1990s and gained wider recognition with roles in Washington Wolves (1999) and Fausto 5.0 (2001). Fernández is known for performances in Biutiful (2010), The Skin I Live In (2011), Smoke & Mirrors (2016), While at War (2019), Everybody Knows (2018), God's Crooked Lines (2022) and the series 30 Coins (2020–2023). He appeared as Ciro Algarañaz in Che: Part Two (2008).

Fernández has received multiple Goya Awards for leading and supporting roles.
