Biography
Edward Bursch is an American film editor. Born on 30 January 1987 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, he began working with director Wes Anderson as a production intern on Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) and later served as animatic editor on Moonrise Kingdom (2012), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), The French Dispatch (2021) and Asteroid City (2023).
Bursch received a full editor credit on the stop-motion feature Isle of Dogs (2018), shared with Ralph Foster and Andrew Weisblum. He has also edited the shorts Cousin Ben Troop Screening (2012) and Do You Like to Read? (2012), and contributed additional editing to The Phoenician Scheme (2025). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cinema, Photography and Media Arts from Ithaca College.
