Biography
Edward Hogg is an English actor. Born on 26 January 1979 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 1999 to 2002.
He made his professional stage debut in My Father's Son at the Sheffield Crucible. His theatre credits include the Royal Shakespeare Company Academy production of King Lear, the title role in Woyzeck at the Gate Theatre in London and off-Broadway, and appearances in The Pillowman and Our Class at the National Theatre.
Hogg is known for his film and television roles, including Jesco White in White Lightnin' (2009), Stephen Turnbull in Bunny and the Bull (2009), Segundus in Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (2015), Michael 'Godders' Godfrey in Taboo (2017), Thomas Haxby in Harlots (2017), and Citizen Gilbert in Napoleon (2023).
