Biography

Edward Warschilka (1928–2004) was a Hungarian-born American film editor. He began working as an editor in the mid-1960s on television series and moved into feature films in the early 1970s.

His credits include The Landlord (1970), Harold and Maude (1971), The Last of Sheila (1973), The Big Bus (1976), Brainstorm (1983), Sixteen Candles (1984), Rambo III (1988), Child's Play (1988) and Child's Play 2 (1990). He worked as a freelance editor for major studios for 38 years and received a Primetime Emmy nomination.

Warschilka was married to Marlene and had two sons, including Edward A. Warschilka, who also worked as a film editor.
