Biography
Eken Mine (峰 恵研, Mine Eken) was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on 15 February 1935 in Nagasaki Prefecture and died on 6 February 2002.
He joined Theatre Echo in 1961 after earlier stage work. His wife was voice actress Hiroko Maruyama. Mine worked mainly on dubbing Western films and provided voices for older men, fathers and villains in anime.
His credits include Archbishop's Driver (voice) in The Castle of Cagliostro (1979) and Underling (voice) in Castle in the Sky (1986). He also appeared in Kamen Rider (1971) and other tokusatsu and anime series.
