Biography
Elaine Hendrix is an American actress. Born Katherine Elaine Hendrix on 28 December 1970 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, she trained at the Northside School of Performing Arts in Atlanta after moving there at age 15. She began her career as a professional dancer and model before an accident in 1992 ended that work and led her to acting.
Hendrix made her screen debut in the early 1990s. Her early television credits include the role of Auditioning Blonde #1 in the 1993 series Fallen Angels. She gained wider recognition for her performance as Meredith Blake in the 1998 film The Parent Trap and for her role as Lisa Luder in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997). Other notable television appearances include Get Smart (1995), Friends (1994), Charmed (1998), The Mentalist (2008) and a recurring role as Alexis Carrington in the series Dynasty (2019–2022). She has also worked as a producer.
