Biography
Eleanor David is a British actress. Her screen credits include the role of Pink's wife in Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982), Maddy in Comfort and Joy (1984), Cecily Farr in 84 Charing Cross Road (1987) and Fanny Ronalds in Mike Leigh's Topsy-Turvy (1999). She also appeared in White Hunter, Black Heart (1990) and episodes of series including Midsomer Murders and Casualty.
David has worked in film, television and theatre in the UK, the United States and New Zealand. Her stage credits include productions at the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. She starred as Sylvia Ashton-Warner in the 1985 New Zealand biopic Sylvia.
