Biography
Elisabeth Risdon was an English actress. She appeared in over 140 films between 1913 and 1952, initially in society parts and later in character roles. She is credited as Cora Payne in Make Way for Tomorrow (1937) and appeared in High Sierra (1941), The Roaring Twenties (1939), Dead End (1937), Random Harvest (1942) and Scaramouche (1952).
Risdon had an extensive stage career, appearing on Broadway from 1912 and working with the Theatre Guild. She was married to silent film director George Loane Tucker from 1916 until his death in 1921, and later to actor Brandon Evans until his death in 1958. She died in Santa Monica, California, in December 1958.
