Biography
Elisabeth Röhm is a German-born American actress and director. Born on 28 April 1973 in Düsseldorf, she was raised in New York and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in European history.
She is best known for her television roles as Detective Kate Lockley in Angel (1999–2001) and Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn in Law & Order (2001–2005). Röhm has also appeared in films including American Hustle (2013), Joy (2015) and Bombshell (2019).
In addition to acting, Röhm has directed episodes and television films, including one episode of Law & Order in 2022. She received Screen Actors Guild Award nominations for her ensemble work on Law & Order.
