Biography
Ellie Haddington is a Scottish actress. She was born in Aberdeen on 17 February 1955 and trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 1975 to 1977.
Haddington appeared as Josie Clarke in 101 episodes of Coronation Street (1995–1996). She is also known for playing Hilda Pierce in Foyle's War (2003–2015), Marion in the BBC sitcom Motherland (2016–2022), and roles in Bad Girls, Doctor Who, Ripper Street and Dickensian. Her film credits include Mrs Esposito in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and Miss Gregory in Enola Holmes (2020).
